Meet Kathryn
Style Me Ada was created from an understanding that style doesn’t need to announce itself to be effective.
I’m Kathryn Snow, a personal stylist and wardrobe consultant based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My work reflects years spent inside the fashion industry, observing how clothing moves from concept to rack to real life… and how women actually wear it once it’s theirs.
A Career Built in New York
Before founding Style Me Ada, I worked in New York City across both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce retail environments, with experience spanning multiple ready-to-wear categories and accessories.
My roles combined merchandising, planning and buying, which required a balance of creative direction and analytical rigor. I was responsible for assortment strategies, forecasting, and performance across categories and was recognized with multiple merchant awards for category leadership and results.
I’m a graduate of WashU in St. Louis, and I continue to work as a retail consultant with select companies, advising on merchandising, planning, and product strategy.
That perspective remains central to my work.

We begin by understanding how you actually live. From there, we refine what you already own, thoughtfully identifying what’s missing, and then build a wardrobe that feels cohesive and effortless to maintain.
The process is collaborative and measured, shaped around daily routines, professional demands, and personal preferences. Over time, wardrobes begin to feel cohesive and settled, and less reactive.

Style Me Ada provides personal styling and wardrobe consulting for women in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While I’m rooted in West Michigan, my perspective is shaped by years in the broader fashion industry, blending editorial sensibility with practical, everyday wearability.

A little more about me…
Although I have my own style, my extensive training and experience in retail means that I am able to cater to everyone’s unique styles and budgets. Because I was a professional buyer, I have years of experience making purchases based on consumer preferences other than my own. In fact, one of the most important characteristics of a talented buyer is minimizing personal influence on purchasing decisions.
Style Me Ada started as a hobby while focusing on raising my twins and being a wife to my amazingly supportive husband… It began as simply shopping with family and friends who felt “lost” in their closet or needed style direction.
And although I’m always shopping and looking at the latest trends, I’m at a season in my life where the people I meet and the friends and family that I have are my priority with everything I do.
Style Me Ada is a passion project, and I look forward to sharing my passion for transforming women into their most comfortable and confident selves with you.
